Performances and Outdoor Installations:
'Ladders and Soil' August, l994 Concrete Yard, Rue Esplanade, Montreal Series of 22 paintings that were done over 22 consecutive days on arranged together as a totem and laid on the mossy paved surface of a boxed in concrete yard.
'Totem' July, l994 Concrete Yard, Rue Esplanade, Montreal Series of 16 paintings placed on the concrete with soil around them and in between the paintings and the ladder arranged to form a strong visual abstract image.
'Stuck, Unstuck' June, l993 Shinjuku Station, Tokyo, Japan
Performance piece involving sound and movement. Performed for five consecutive days in underground commuter train station during rush hour. The theme: being stuck in a barely controlled state, of internal and external chaos.
'Jewel' December, l993 Vagator, State of Goa, India
Outdoor painting project, involving the coloration of a group of boulders on the coast of the Indian Ocean, only accessible by foot. Each boulder was painted a single color, the final result resembling a small heap of precious stones
'Stones' August l991 White Rock Beach, British Columbia Circular wall one foot in height built from stones painted white and black.
'Doors' August l991 The woods at Lac Notre Dame, Quebec 3 multi-media artworks created on old doors placed in the woods.
'Sod Project' June, l991 Montreal
Project in collaboration with Scott Cohen and Roger Maddox. Strips of sod were placed on the floor of a metro car, across an intersection in the form of crosswalk, on concrete blocks surrounding an empty lot. Pedestrians and commuters reactions were photographed and documented on video.
'Redpath' April, l991 Pointe Ste. Charles, Montreal
Outdoor painting project on the roof of the Redpath Sugar Refinery, a process oriented piece, created out of dialogue between artist and the structure and character of the building.
'In the Mirror' June, l988 Concordia University, Montreal
Multi-media performance piece (sound, movement, speech, recorded speech, slides) Topic of wife abuse, exploring capacity for anger within us all.
